⇻TECHNIQUE
This brass ring is hand made with the metalsmith technique. Metalsmithing is the process of creating jewelry through the manipulation of various metals. These manipulations include forming and shaping, sawing, doming, foldforming, drilling, soldering, texturing, stamping and more.
I start with collecting the crystals for the piece and drawing the design, than I saw and shape the different metal parts needed to create the design. After soldering the parts together the gemstone can be set. I use a artisanal technique to set the stone so there is no glue nessecary. Because of this, sometimes the stone can move slightly but this is completely normal. To finish, the ring gets polished for a beautiful shiny finish.

⇻MATERIALS
ᴄʀʏꜱᴛᴀʟ: A beautiful Amazonite and Chrysoprase crystal
ᴍᴇᴛᴀʟ: Raw yellow brass. Brass is a mix of copper and zinc. It is a good quality metal and will keep its stunning warm golden colour, meaning it wont lose its color over time like many plated jewelry does. This means it will keep it's beauty forever. It does turn a bit dull when not worn for a while, but it will shine bright again once you wear it again for a day or so. Keep in mind that brass is a metal that turns skin green when temperatures are warm and the skin is slightly sweaty. I use brass jewelry all year round and occasionaly it happens that my skin turns green (it doesn't happen from washing hands or showering with your jewelry on, only from sweat or sunscreen on the skin.) When this happens you can wash it off easily with water and a bit of soap.

If you don't know your ring size you can measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you. Make sure you measure the inside of the ring. The inside diameter of this ring is 18.1 mm.

⇻MORE FEATURES
The design of the ring is aprox. 5 cm long and 1,8 cm wide.
The ring features a beautiful double split ringband that sits comfortable and gives extra support.

⇻HEALING
